q. how far in advace do i need to order a wedding dress?
A. We recommend starting the wedding dress shopping process 9 months to one year prior to your wedding date, so you can avoid rush fees and enjoy the experience! While our designers can take anywhere from 4 - 6 months on special ordered gowns, delivery times can often vary based on the time of year. Also, keep in mind that custom measurements and/or additional changes will require more time. If a regular turnaround doesn't fit your timeline, we are able to accommodate almost any wedding date deadline with a few tricks up our sleeves. Most of our designers keep various styles in stock and once ordered they arrive within weeks. Your perfect dress is out there and we will help you find it.
q. what is the average price of a wedding dress at your store?
A. Our wedding gowns range from $1,600 - $4,600, with the majority of gowns ranging from $2,000 - $2,600.
q. who should i bring with me to the appointment?
A. We know that shopping for a wedding gown is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and finding your dream dress should be a memorable moment shared with your closest family and friends. We would love for you to bring whoever’s opinions you value and trust the most. Our goal is for you to feel confident and gorgeous when you stand in front of the mirror in one of our gowns, because we think every bride should experience the pure joy of finding their dream dress with the people they love by their side.
Q. What should I wear to my appointment?
A. We ask our brides to come in with an open-mind, positive attitude - and SMILE! We truly believe when you feel your best you will feel good in what you try on. It never hurts to bring a strapless bra, shape-wear and a sassy pair of shoes. We’re giving you permission to dress up cute, throw some curls in your hair and your favorite shade of lip gloss on. You want to feel good trying on one of the most important pieces of clothing you’ll purchase.
Q. WHAT SIZE GOWNS DO YOU HAVE TO TRY ON?
A. We offer a range of sizes 8-32 in store. While we don't have each dress in different sizes, we do our best to show each bride what the dress will look like on her figure.
q. Do you carry plus size wedding dresses? what size do you go up to?
A. We carry more than 50 plus-size wedding dresses, ranging up to a size 32 for you to try on in-store. Many of our gowns are available to order up to a size 34.
Q. How Long is the appointment, and how many dresses can I try on?
A. We allow 90-minutes for our standard Bridal Styling Appointments. We find that the appointments tend to run on average 75 minutes. During this time we will explore your inspiration pictures, tour the store, pull gowns based on your interests, try on and have time to stylize the favorite gowns at the end. If more time is needed, depending on the day we can go a little longer or reschedule for a second-look appointment. Depending on the app0ointment we can typically try on 12-15 gowns in this amount of time.
Q. Do i need to make an appointment, or can i walk in?
A. Our boutique is appointment-only to ensure a stylist is available to assist you. Making an appointment will also guarantee comfortable seating for you and your loved ones, in addition to all the personal services that come with having an expert stylist to guide you every step of the way. q. do you offer alterations, and are they included in the dress price?
A. Moliere Bridal House is proud to boast one of the most experienced bridal seamstress’ in Oklahoma. Alterations are not included in the price of the gown and typically run around $500 - $700, depending on the changes needing to be made to your gown. Please don't hesitate to discuss charges and estimates with your stylist during your appointment.
